The Future is ZERO
You may have already noticed some of our modern Mercedes vehicles are equipped with Electric Motor Drives (EMDs). Allowing us to power our machines with mains electricity when available, eliminating emissions at events. Read more here. This has been a fantastic first step, and we’re building on this progress with a bigger, bolder vision for the future.
The journey to an all-electric fleet is a complex one, but we are working hard to make it a reality. We are investing in our fleet to bring you the next generation of Mr Whippy Ice Cream Vans — quieter, cleaner, and powered by the latest eco-friendly technology.
And here’s a little teaser for you: for 2026, we’re planning some significant additions to our fleet. We can’t reveal all the details just yet, but rest assured, these new vans will not only continue our tradition of serving the best ice cream in the UK but will do so in a way that’s better for the planet.
Our mission has always been to bring joy to people of all ages. By moving towards a sustainable and eco-friendly fleet, we can continue that tradition for many more generations to come.
